Death By orchestra will be working hard between now and june 15th getting things ready for summer storm 2012, an outdoor mini festival they are presenting in their home town of Long Eaton, Nottngham.
Last year DBO were approached by the organising committee of the towns annual carnival, who were hoping DBO would donate some equipment for the festivities. DBO went one further, not only offering to play a headline set themselves, but to seek out an eclectic mix of some of the best bands and artists in the local area for the show.
The show became known as Summer Storm, and returns for its second outing on friday 15th of June on West Park, Long Eaton.
In a bid to reach out to a wider audience DBO have joined forces with their old pal Will Silver at leicester’s Silver Bullet Promotions in running a six week acoustic competition to find the opening acts.
